FlashWorks is a vocabulary drilling program. Each word is tagged for difficulty, type (noun, verb, etc.), chapter, and frequency in the Biblical text. ParseWorks helps you practice parsing the parsing exercises from The Basics of Biblical Greek.

O Dicionário Semântico do Hebraico Bíblico (DSHB) é a versão e adaptação para o português do Semantic Dictionary of Biblical Hebrew (SDBH). O projeto SDBH teve início em 2002, sob os auspícios da United Bible Societies, visando a produção de um dicionário completo do hebraico bíblico organizado a partir de uma perspectiva semântica. O dicionário deve ser produzido concomitantemente em várias línguas modernas [está em inglês, francês, espanhol e português]. Tanto o SDBH como o DSHB foram projetados como dicionários eletrônicos para publicação na internet. Os resultados estão sendo publicados regularmente, desde 2004. O projeto DSHB em português é patrocinado pela Sociedade Bíblica do Brasil. O projeto SDBH é coordenado por Reinier de Blois. O projeto DSHB em português é coordenado por Enio R. Mueller.

The Semantic Dictionary of Biblical Hebrew (SDBH) project is carried out under the auspices of the United Bible Societies. Its aim is to build a new dictionary of biblical Hebrew that is based on semantic domains, comparable to Louw and Nida’s Greek-English Lexicon of the New Testament, which was first published in 1989. Several Hebrew scholars from different parts of the world are contributing to this dictionary. The editor for this project is Dr. Reinier de Blois, assisted by Prof. Dr. Enio R. Mueller.

The Hebrew program is part of the Department of Middle Eastern Studies. The program offers undergraduate and graduate degrees and concentrates on Modern Hebrew. As of 1999, a new track concentrating on Biblical Hebrew has been added.

The Hittite Grammar Homepage

The Hittite Grammar site has the following projects: a Hittite grammar; Hittite texts with their transcriptions and translations; a Hittite lexicon; a short Sumerian lexicon; an Akkadian dictionary; a short Akkadian lexicon for use with the texts, and a summary table of the Hittite paradigms in a single page. There is a PDF version of the Hittite grammar to download. Hittite is an Indo-European (I.E.) language, member of the Anatolian language family. It has been deciphered from cuneiform tablets discovered in the 20th century in Anatolia, more precisely at Bogazköy, where once stood Hattusa, the capital of the Hittite empire. The discovered tablets range from 1600 to 1200 BC. The name "Hittite" comes from Hatti, name of the country and the language of the people present before the Hittites. The Hittite kings called themselves "kings of the land of Hatti". The name that Hittites gave to themselves was "Nesumna" (inhabitants of the town of Nesa), and their tongue "Nesili". The site is in French and English.

The Pennsylvania Sumerian Dictionary

O Pennsylvania Sumerian Dictionary está preparando um dicionário de sumério para ser usado tanto por sumeriólogos como por leigos no assunto. Outros instrumentos para trabalhar com a língua suméria também estão sendo preparados. O projeto é desenvolvido pela seção babilônica do Museu de Antropologia e Arqueologia da Universidade da Pensilvânia, USA. The PSD is preparing an exhaustive dictionary of the Sumerian language which aims to be useful to non-specialists as well as Sumerologists. In addition, we are developing tools and datasets for working with the Sumerian language and its text-corpora. All materials will be made freely available on this website. The Pennsylvania Sumerian Dictionary Project is carried out in the Babylonian Section of the University of Pennsylvania Museum of Anthropology and Archaeology.
